Walta and Marcos were married at sunset at scenic Parc 73 in Prairieville right outside of Baton Rouge, La , and Ashford Halley was there to capture it all!
Our coverage began at The Marriot in both the bride and groom’s separate dressing areas while we captured all of the getting ready with our documentary photography! With ample coverage before the ceremony we were able to photograph both the groomsmen and the bridal party, as well as their emotional first look. Walta and Marcos’s ceremony was beautiful, and Parc 73 provided us with plenty of opportunity to creatively photograph their wedding ceremony. As the sun began to fall on the horizon we took Walta and Marcos to a beautiful open field for their last set of portraits as the sky turned blue from the setting sun. We photographed into the night as Walta and Marcos’s family and friends celebrated with traditions from around the world! With two cultures coming together to celebrate the couple, we enjoyed the sword dancers, Brazilian Dancers, African American dances and much more! They finished the night off with a Mardi Gras Indian and a Second Line send off!
Walta and Marcos were such amazing clients to work with, and it was our pleasure to photograph both their engagement portraits and bridals as well as their wedding day! Thanks so much to Walta and Marcos for allowing us to be a part of it all and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!!
